We are trying to establish what can be offered to the Young Pars as part of your membership, which is extremely difficult to predict given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In the circumstances we would like to provide an update on our current plans for the coming season.

We will continue to send membership card and birthday card to Young Pars members.

As part of the membership members will receive a £5 voucher to be spent in the DAFC shop.

In the interim there will be periodic Zoom meetings for members to join the manager and players for group chat. One of these might take the form of quizzes with players captaining teams made up of Young Pars members. Stevie Crawford is keen that the Young Pars still feel part of the Club even although we can’t physically support the team yet.

Sammy’s Gang members i.e. Young Pars members under six years of age will initially receive one online-exclusive Sammy’s story and archive material to celebrate Scotland’s number one club mascot’s birthday. We are still working on what else we can provide for this age group.

If and when Covid-19 restrictions are eased Young Pars activities such as parties, penalty kick competition, Meet the Players and bowling nights will resume.

In the light of the ongoing uncertainty, payment of your £15 membership will be valid for two seasons instead of just one. If you join/renew membership this season 2020-21 your membership will continue through to the end of season 2021-22.

We have had over 40 members renew by paypal and if you have done so by a recurring payment, then please cancel this payment for next year (if you have not already done so).

If you would like to renew your membership of the Young Pars for the next two seasons that you do so as soon as you can. Our older members will be able to participate in the Zoom meetings with the players and Sammy’s Gang members will be able to see Sammy.
