Walking the West Highland Way for the Young Pars

One of the Young Pars committee Christine Scott took to the hills on Sunday, 9th September to raise funds for the Young Pars.

Christine completed the West Highland Way successfully and would like to thank everyone who sponsored her walk for the Young Pars.

Initially the cumulative total raised is £650 but if anyone still wishes to donate money to the Young Pars, then please use the donate button below.

Christine has been a committee member since 1995 and a follower of the Pars for more years than she is willing to own up to. Â

Starting on Sunday 9th September she will be walking the West Highland Way to raise funds for the Young Pars.
She was accompanied by her daughter Kirsty, nephew David and his friend Alan.

Her six day trek took her the 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William with overnight stops at Balmaha, Inverarnan, Bridge of Orchy and Kinlochleven.Â

Fort William was safely achieved by late afternoon on the Friday and was safely back for Dunfermline Athletic’s match on the Saturday away to Dumbarton.

The Young Pars have been going strong since being re-branded in 1995 from the Junior Supporters Club and are self funded.

If you would like to sponsor or donate to Christine’s trek – then please use the donate button below.

Thanks in advance!
